Summary
This study aimed to test a new gel made from chitosan succinamide as a packing material in ear surgery to repair a hole in the eardrum. The gel was hoped to improve healing and reduce inflammation compared to standard foam. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
