Summary

This study explores whether writing Chinese poems can improve the mental wellbeing and happiness of adult volunteers who serve people recovering from mental illness. Thirty volunteers will attend two three-hour poetry sessions focused on themes like joy and gratitude. Researchers will measure changes in wellbeing, happiness, and mood, and also check if the program is practical and well-liked.
