Summary
This study is testing whether adding a traditional Chinese medicine formula (Feireqing Granules) to standard antibiotic treatment helps patients with severe pneumonia caused by bacteria resistant to multiple drugs. About 152 adults with this hard-to-treat infection will be randomly assigned to receive either the real herbal granules or a placebo, along with standard hospital care. Researchers will check if the added treatment reduces deaths, helps clear the infection faster, or shortens hospital stays.
