Ancient formula battles modern superbugs in lungs

This study is testing whether adding a traditional Chinese medicine formula (Feireqing Granules) to standard hospital treatment helps people with severe pneumonia caused by bacteria that resist most antibiotics. Researchers will enroll 152 adults with this dangerous lung infection and randomly give them either the real herbal granules or look-alike placebo pills alongside usual care. The main goal is to see if the added treatment reduces deaths and improves recovery over 28 days.
