Ancient herb formula aims to block deadly liver cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a traditional Chinese herbal formula called Fufang Biejiaruangan to standard antiviral treatment can help prevent liver cancer in people with hepatitis B-related cirrhosis. Researchers will enroll over 1,000 patients at high risk for cancer and follow them for 96 weeks to see if the combination therapy lowers cancer rates compared to antiviral treatment alone. The goal is to control disease progression and reduce the serious complication of liver cancer in this vulnerable group.
