Summary
This study aims to create a large database and sample bank for newborns with serious brain conditions in China. It will collect medical information, blood, urine, and spinal fluid from up to 2,000 babies to help researchers better understand these conditions. The goal is to use this 'big data' to predict brain injury and guide future treatments, but it does not test a new therapy itself.
