Doctors review past cases to see if hip fracture nail delivered on its promise
NCT ID NCT06285981
Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of 44 adults in Italy who had surgery for a broken hip using a specific device called the CHIMAERA nail. Researchers wanted to see how often the bone successfully healed within a year and how many patients needed a second surgery. The goal was to understand how this nail performed in real-world use, not to test a new treatment.
