Doctors test gentler gas technique to ease Kids' surgery pain
NCT ID NCT04949659
Summary
This study looked at whether using lower gas pressure to inflate the abdomen during children's appendix surgery leads to less pain after the operation. Researchers compared two pressure levels in 250 children aged 5 and older. The main goal was to see if the lower pressure resulted in lower pain scores on the day after surgery.
