Doctors test which wire pattern best holds Kids' broken elbows
NCT ID NCT07266038
Summary
This study aims to find the better surgical method for fixing a severe type of elbow fracture in children. Researchers will compare two ways of placing stabilizing wires—in a cross pattern versus from the side—to see which one more reliably keeps the broken bone in the correct position after surgery. The goal is to improve outcomes and reduce the need for repeat procedures in children aged 2 to 13.
