Can better food and parenting boost Kids' brainpower?
NCT ID NCT07383428
Summary
This study aims to see if a special fortified porridge for gut health and a training program for caregivers can improve early learning and brain development in young children in rural Guatemala. Researchers will follow 400 mother-child pairs, starting when the child is 6 months old, until they turn 2 years old. They will compare four groups: one gets the special food, one gets caregiver training, one gets both, and one gets standard care, to see which approach works best.
