Global study probes why Kids' cancer care fails in poorer nations
NCT ID NCT07246213
Summary
This study aims to understand why children and young adults with cancer in low- and middle-income countries often have worse outcomes than those in wealthier nations. Researchers will look back at the medical records of up to 18,000 patients to identify patterns of treatment failure and severe side effects. The goal is to gather evidence that can be used to design better, more targeted support for healthcare systems in these regions.
