Summary
This study looks at how eating chestnuts affects blood sugar and insulin levels after a meal in healthy adults. Researchers want to see if chestnuts, which are high in fiber and starch, can help manage blood sugar better. Fifteen adults will eat chestnuts and then have their blood sugar and insulin measured. The goal is to learn if chestnuts could be part of a healthy diet to prevent chronic diseases like diabetes.
