First seen Jun 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tested a mobile app designed to help gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men reduce the negative effects of chemsex (using drugs like ecstasy or crystal meth during sex). The app was added to an existing PrEP tool. 25 participants who had used drugs in a sexual context in the past year tried the app and rated how easy it was to use. The goal was to see if the app could be a useful harm reduction tool.
