First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tested a combination of three chemotherapy drugs (cisplatin, 5-fluorouracil, and docetaxel) at lower, adjusted doses in 105 people with advanced head and neck cancer that could not be surgically removed. The goal was to see if the treatment could shrink tumors effectively while reducing severe side effects. The main outcome measured was the success rate of treatment after 8 weeks.
