NCT ID NCT04356170
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested a combination of three chemotherapy drugs (cisplatin, 5-fluorouracil, and docetaxel) at adjusted doses in 105 patients with advanced head and neck cancer that could not be surgically removed. The goal was to see how well the treatment worked at shrinking tumors after 8 weeks while keeping side effects manageable. The approach aims to control the disease rather than cure it.
