NCT ID NCT07463313
First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study compares 6 versus 3 cycles of chemotherapy given before surgery for people with a rare type of thymus gland tumor (thymoma or thymic carcinoma) that has spread locally but may still be removable. About 116 adults aged 18-65 will be randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups. The goal is to see if more chemotherapy improves the chance of successful surgery and delays the cancer from coming back.
