New combo therapy shows promise for tough esophageal cancer

Summary
This study tests whether giving immunotherapy plus chemotherapy before the usual chemoradiation can help people with advanced esophageal cancer that cannot be surgically removed. About 50 adults with this type of cancer will receive the combination treatment, then chemoradiation. The main goal is to see how many are still alive after 2 years.
