First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests giving chemotherapy before surgery to men with high-risk prostate cancer. The goal is to see if this approach helps keep the cancer from coming back or spreading for at least 5 years. About 300 men aged 40 to 75 with no prior chemo will take part. The treatment aims to control the disease, not cure it.
