First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests a drug called pembrolizumab in 40 men with advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to hormone therapy. The cancer must have specific genetic changes (mismatch repair deficiency or CDK12 inactivation). The goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors or slow the disease. This is not a cure, but aims to control the cancer for as long as possible.
