Can a smartphone chatbot curb dangerous 'Chemsex' habits?
NCT ID NCT07472582
Summary
This study is testing whether a 12-week chatbot program can help men who have sex with men in Hong Kong reduce risky drug use during sex (called 'chemsex') and lower their risk for HIV. Researchers will compare two groups: one gets weekly educational videos, while the other gets the videos plus personalized chatbot support. The goal is to see if the chatbot approach leads to safer behaviors over six months.
