Texts + tech: can a glucose monitor boost diabetes education?

NCT ID NCT06296550

First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) to a text-message diabetes education program helps people with type 2 diabetes better control their blood sugar. About 140 adults who do not use insulin will use a CGM for 6 months while receiving educational texts. The main goal is to see if this combination lowers A1c levels.
