Text messages meet tech: can a wearable monitor help tame type 2 diabetes?

NCT ID NCT06296550

Summary

This study is testing if adding a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) to a text-message-based diabetes education program helps people with type 2 diabetes who don't use insulin. For 6 months, 140 participants will use the CGM device alongside the education program to see if it improves blood sugar control and self-management. The goal is to see if this combined approach is more effective than education alone.
