NCT ID NCT05902104
First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at how blood sugar levels change in hospitalized infants with intestinal failure when their intravenous nutrition is given in cycles instead of continuously. Nine babies wore a small sensor on their thigh that measured sugar levels every 5 minutes for up to 30 days. The goal was to better understand blood sugar patterns to help improve care for these infants in the future.
