What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

CGM Academy education curriculum (behavioral intervention)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could give families a practical, virtual way to better manage blood sugar levels and reduce diabetes distress.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-stage trial (90 people) testing an education program, not a drug. Results may not apply to all youth, and the program requires time and technology access.
