Can a phone app ease the mental burden of cystic fibrosis?
NCT ID NCT07436351
Summary
This study is testing whether a self-help therapy program, delivered via a smartphone app, can help reduce anxiety and depression in adults with cystic fibrosis (CF). The program uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques through short videos to teach new ways to manage difficult feelings and live according to personal values. Researchers will compare changes in symptoms for 60 participants who use the toolkit against a waitlist group.
