First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether people who carry one copy of the cystic fibrosis gene (called CF carriers) are more likely to get dehydrated or have heat-related problems. Researchers will compare 100 CF carriers with 100 non-carriers using surveys and a 45-minute sauna session. The goal is to understand if carriers need special precautions in hot weather.
