Summary
This study looks at whether adults who carry one copy of the cystic fibrosis gene (called CF carriers) are more likely to get dehydrated or have heat-related problems. Researchers will compare 100 CF carriers with 100 non-carriers using surveys and a heat challenge in a sauna. The goal is to understand if this common genetic trait affects how the body handles heat.
