NCT ID NCT07148167
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study used MRI to look at neck muscles and fat in 158 people with ankylosing spondylitis (AS), a type of arthritis that affects the spine. Researchers wanted to see how the disease changes muscle size and fat buildup in the neck, which hasn't been studied much before. The goal was to learn more about AS, not to test a treatment.
