New study probes hidden effects of neck disc problems on daily arm use
NCT ID NCT07282522
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at how a slipped disc in the neck changes the way people feel touch and pain, and how it affects their fear of movement and ability to use their arms and hands. Researchers will compare 64 adults with neck pain from a herniated disc to healthy volunteers. The goal is to better understand these connections, not to test a treatment.
