Video navigator aims to close cervical cancer screening gap

NCT ID NCT07011836

First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether an interactive video program, paired with a community health worker, can help more African American women get screened for cervical cancer. About 288 women who are overdue for screening will be split into two groups: one gets the interactive video plus a navigator, the other a standard educational video. Researchers will check medical records six months later to see if screening rates improved.
