Summary

This study looked at whether a drug called everolimus can help prevent new skin cancers in people who have had a heart transplant. 175 heart transplant patients with a history of skin cancer took part. The goal was to see if switching to everolimus reduced the number of new skin tumors compared to staying on standard anti-rejection drugs.
