New hope for Parkinson's patients: can CereGate therapy stop freezing episodes?
NCT ID NCT05292794
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests a new therapy called CereGate for people with Parkinson's disease who experience freezing of gait—a sudden inability to move their feet while walking. The therapy is used alongside their usual medication and deep brain stimulation. Researchers will measure changes in walking rhythm using wearable sensors to see if CereGate helps reduce freezing episodes.
