Zapping the brain to fix One-Sided blindness after stroke

NCT ID NCT07580066

First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation method called cTBS can improve attention in adults who, after a stroke, ignore one side of their world. Sixty participants will receive real or fake stimulation to the cerebellum or cerebrum while researchers track their eye movements and brain activity. The goal is to understand how the cerebellum helps restore spatial attention, not to cure the condition.
