New mammogram tech could spot hidden cancers in dense breasts

Summary
This study compares a newer imaging method, contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM), to standard mammography for detecting breast cancer in women with dense breasts. Dense breast tissue can make cancers harder to see on a standard mammogram. The study will enroll 1,000 women aged 30-75 with dense breasts to see if CEM improves detection.
