Your own fat cells could ease shoulder arthritis pain
NCT ID NCT02844738
Summary
This study is testing whether injections of a person's own processed fat cells and platelet-rich plasma can safely reduce pain and inflammation from shoulder osteoarthritis. Researchers will track 50 patients initially, measuring pain levels, shoulder function, and quality of life over 6 months. The goal is to see if this cell therapy can help people feel better and potentially delay or avoid shoulder replacement surgery.
