Summary
This study aims to uncover the genetic and biological differences between various forms of celiac disease and a related skin condition called dermatitis herpetiformis. Researchers will analyze blood, gut, and skin samples from 3,500 participants, including patients and their healthy friends or relatives. The goal is to find markers that can predict which form of the disease a person might develop.
