First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding fosfomycin to the standard antibiotic ceftazidime helps adults with severe gram-negative infections recover faster. About 100 hospitalized participants will receive either the combo or ceftazidime alone for 3 days. Researchers will track recovery using infection markers and check for side effects.
