Double antibiotic attack: could a second drug beat severe infections faster?

Summary
This study tests whether adding a second antibiotic (fosfomycin) to the standard antibiotic (ceftazidime) helps people with severe bacterial infections recover faster. About 100 hospitalized adults will receive either the combo or standard care plus a placebo. Researchers will track recovery time and side effects.
