First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at whether heart bypass surgery (CABG) or stents (PCI) cause more long-term memory and thinking problems. Researchers will test 600 adults with computer-based brain games before their procedure and again at 1 month, 1 year, and 2 years after. The goal is to help patients and doctors choose the best heart treatment for preserving brain function.
