Supercharged immune cells take on Hard-to-Treat lymphoma

NCT ID NCT01192464

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new way to fight Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma that has returned or not responded to standard treatment. Researchers take a patient's own immune cells (T cells), add a special receptor that targets the CD30 protein on lymphoma cells, and also train them to recognize the common EBV virus to help them last longer in the body. The main goal is to see if this treatment is safe and to find the best dose.
