NCT ID NCT05634785

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested a new treatment for a rare type of testicular cancer called nonseminomatous germ cell tumors. Researchers took patients' own immune cells (T cells) and modified them to recognize and attack cancer cells that carry a protein called CD30. The goal was to see if these modified cells could shrink tumors and how long they lasted in the body. Only 2 adults took part, and the study focused on safety and building a biobank for future research.
