New Dual-Target CAR t therapy offers hope for kids with tough leukemia

Summary

This study tests a new type of CAR T cell therapy that targets two proteins (CD19 and CD22) on leukemia cells. It is for children whose B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia has come back or not responded to standard treatments. The main goal is to find a safe dose and see if the therapy can shrink the cancer. About 53 children will take part in this early-phase trial.
