Summary

This study looked at whether adding a smartphone app that teaches cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) skills helps veterans with depression recover better than standard CBT alone. Fifteen veterans who served in Iraq or Afghanistan took part. The goal was to see if the app improved their understanding of CBT skills and reduced depressive symptoms.
