Summary

This study tested a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) course for insomnia in 73 adults who also have a chronic physical illness like arthritis, heart disease, or cancer. The therapy focused on changing sleep habits and thoughts about sleep. Results showed that the course helped reduce insomnia severity and improve sleep quality.
