Brain zap & behavior therapy team up to tackle Tourette's tics

NCT ID NCT06678737

Summary

This study is testing whether combining a proven behavioral therapy (CBIT) with a non-invasive brain stimulation technique (TMS) can help young people with Tourette Syndrome or chronic tics gain better control over their tics. Researchers aim to see if stimulating a specific brain area improves a person's ability to suppress tics during therapy. The study will enroll 60 participants aged 12-21 who have had tics for at least a year.
