Could a Cannabis-Based lotion be the answer for scleroderma itch?
NCT ID NCT07245238
Summary
This study is testing if a lotion containing cannabidiol (CBD) and urea works better than urea lotion alone to relieve severe itching in people with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). Researchers will enroll 36 participants to see if the CBD lotion improves skin moisture, sleep quality, and overall quality of life. This is a Phase 3 trial, meaning it's a later-stage test to confirm if the treatment is effective.
