Summary
This study tested whether CBD (a compound from cannabis) can help people reduce their use of painkillers and opioids, while also easing pain and anxiety. 126 adults with opioid use disorder who wanted to cut back on opioids took either CBD or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers measured changes in pain, opioid use, and cravings to see if CBD made a difference.
