Summary
This study tested a device called Cavaterm™ that uses a balloon to remove the lining of the womb in women with heavy menstrual bleeding (menometrorrhagia) who no longer wish to have children. The goal was to see if the treatment reduces bleeding after 2 months. The study included 20 women treated between January and December 2024.
