New iPhone app aims to catch fall risk before a fall happens

NCT ID NCT05544760

Summary

This study is testing a new iPhone app called CatchU, designed to help doctors identify older adults who are at risk for falling. The app uses simple sensory and reaction-time tests that can be done during a clinic visit. Researchers will follow 84 adults aged 65 and older to see if the app's results can predict who is likely to experience a fall over the next two years.
