Summary
This study tests whether keeping the eye at a lower pressure during cataract surgery leads to fewer side effects and better vision in the first week after the procedure. About 105 people with cataracts will have one eye operated on with a standard-pressure system and the other with a lower-pressure system. Both devices are already FDA-approved and used in routine care.
